Jerk Magazine
For three years, I produced and edited video content for Jerk Magazine’s website and socials. I produced, co-hosted and edited video series, including “Drunk Cooking” and “Jerk on the Street.”
For my senior capstone project, I decided to take on the feat of writing, producing, directing, and shooting a mockumentary short film based on my lived experience and my research into both the mockumentary format and the histories of white feminism and performative activism.
The 15-minute short film is currently in postproduction, and I expect it to be completed in 2026. In the meantime, the trailer is available for your viewing pleasure!
Hit and Bitch Podcast
Inspired by the print magazine column of the same name, Hit and Bitch is a podcast about the best (the hits) and the worst (the bitches) of pop culture, celebrity gossip, campus news, and more. On top of hosting the show for four years, I wrote copy for socials, uploaded episodes, and managed analytics.
(Oh yeah, and we were talking about Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi dating over six months before the gossip sites started their coverage.)
SU Sailing Team
As the Commodore of Communications, I was responsible for running all team social media accounts and channels of communication. On top of writing weekly team emails, I photographed events, created social media graphics, and designed team merchandise.
